Summer –
I got this pair of Chelsea boots to replace an older pair that I lost. I always had some minor fit problems with my last pair, but the new version is SOOO comfortable. It doesn’t rub or have any discomfort at all! Before I had some rubbing on the back of my ankle, but now the shoe has changed slightly so it is no longer a problem. And they’re still the same cute and classic Hunter Chelsea boot that I loved before!

Loved the fit of these boots and they are perfect for wet weather. However, they are darn near impossible to get onto your feet. I felt like I had just completed a workout by the time I got them on. If there were not a pull on the back of the boot, you could never get them on at all. Once on, they are perfect but I don’t want to struggle like that each time I want to wear them, so back they go.

I bought these so I could walk my puppy in style – in dirt/mud and in the rain (and without him nipping my feet). They look super cool and urban with a pair of jeans or athletic pants. They are terribly easy to get on and off – which is usually a good thing for shoes, but given that I need to respond quickly to potty demands, it makes it a little awkward when I need to get them on quickly. I do imagine they will loosen up a bit.

I love these! Ordered olive color & they look great. I ordered up a half size and I’m glad. The arch area is a little snug and you really need to work to get your foot into the boot. I wore them for an entire day to my son’s lacrosse tournament and they were pretty comfy but definitely lacked arch support. Highly recommend!!

I was totally unable to get this very cute boot onto my feet. While there is stretch on the sides, the rubber is so stiff that it made it impossible to put the boot on my foot. VERY cute and a great color. I have the short boots and they fit fine in this size, but I have no idea how these would fit due to what I mentioned. Sorry, Zappos and Hunter.

As others have mentioned, these boots are difficult to put on, take off. I use a shoe horn and that helps. They are quite narrow in the heel. However, that means there is very little slipping up and down, a problem I have had with other boots since my heel is narrow. So, I like that, and I think the elastic insert will loosen up. The soles have an excellent tread, won’t slip on mud, wet grass, or snow.

Second pair of Hunters. I wear an 8.5 so I order a 9. I have a narrow foot and little ankles so they fit perfect with no rubbing. An 8 would be to small for sure. Cute style & love the color. Getting matching Military Red backpack. Zappos is the BEST in choices and delivery time!

I have these boots in the tall version ans they’re so comfortable but these are awful. I could’ t get them on my foot and they’re were so tight at the arch that I couldn’t wear them. Sadly I threw away the box before I tried them on since my other pair fit so well I didn’t think I’d have a problem. If you have a high arch, these will kill your feet, unlike other styles. I held up the two boot next to each other and because the short boot has a tighter ankle opening, the whole top of the shoe is twice as tight.

The rubber lining at the ankle did scrape me up. I have raw, red lines on both ankles. Other than that, I love them.

I ordered both the Hunter Chelsea Boots and the Original Play Boots. I returned the Chelsea Boots. Why? Well they look good but thats about it. Difficult to get on and off and ran tight in the calf for me. After a little more than 10 minutes of walking around they were rubbing me raw. These are significantly more narrow in circumference than the Hunter Play boots (which I kept). The Chelsea Boots also run small so size up if you want to try them.

I wear a 8.5 and purchased the 9. Fits great even with thick socks and are easy to get on and off. Arch support is typical of a rain boot – pretty moderate. Went for 5 mile walk wearing them and my arches were starting to get a little sore. Overall really cute and very happy with them.

These are cute. Lower on the ankle than I expected. I have tall Hunter boots and they are easy to get on and off, these are tight and hard to get on, and they definitely run small. I ordered the same size as my tall hunter boots and am exchanging these for a larger size.

I was hesitant to purchase based on what other reviews were saying about these boots being too difficult to actually put on their feet, but I’m glad I took the chance! They are just fine getting on the foot, not a struggle at all for me. There are 2 elastic bands on either side of the shoe to provide a more expandable opening, as well as 2 slits on the interior area, and a back tab to help pull each boot on your feet. My feet are not wide but not super narrow either, so hopefully this helps a future buyer! They are just what I need – lower cut than a regular rain boot, stylish, and waterproof. They wear like a rain boot (with a tiny heel), meaning they are mostly flat and don’t provide crazy arch support, but I expected that. I love these, I love the color, and I will definitely purchase more from the Hunter brand in the future.

I initially ordered the size 7, it felt like it was pushing my foot forward so I ordered the size 8. I’ve never worn a size 8 before but these felt right. I have had several Hunter boots over the years and I always wore a size 7. These boots are cute and comfortable and will be good for gardening and light showers.

They fit exact. Tho no socks. With the shorty boots hadn’t planned on wearing any. Tho now I do love them and maybe would want a larger size . Am normally a 5 1/2 or 6 for the short I ordered a 5. Am greatly pleased and love the bitter chocolate color.

I wear a 9, but the size guide for Hunter waterproof boots insisted that I get a 7 so I did, with the expected result–way too small. I’m going to try an 8 and a 9 and see how it goes.

Perfect for walking the dog through the morning wet grass. They keep my feet dry. This lower boot offers good support for walking on uneven surfaces. I am going to buy another pair.

i kept these after trying on 6 comparable brands bc they accommodated my wide feet. They look cute but I blacked out the loud name label. They only have a little arch support so I could never wear them for long walks, but I live at the beach & needed something waterproof to walk thru tide pools. However they are way to expensive & no doubt, u r paying for the name.
